Show your events on one page

Choose what to show

Open a class or event product in Booker and turn on List on the events calendar. Only classes and events with places can be listed. A room for hire has nothing to announce, so it stays private whatever else shares the room.

Link to the ready-made page

Your store already has the calendar as a page at /apps/booking/calendar, inside your theme so it looks like the rest of the site. Add it to your menu under Online Store, Navigation, and you are done. Nothing to build.

   Open the theme editor

   Pick the page you want, for example a page called Events, or the home page.

   Add the Events calendar block

   It is under Apps. Give it a heading and choose how many months ahead to show. Shoppers get a month grid, a strip of the months ahead, a legend of your classes in the colours from your calendar, and the sessions listed with places left.

   Set the words

   The block has its own words for places left, Full, Book and so on, so you can put them in your own language.

What customers see

Each session shows the event name, its picture and a short description from the product, the time, and how many places are left. Book takes them to the product page to pick that session and pay. A full session says Full. Nobody sees who booked.

One room, events and hires

Put the room you hire out and the events you run in the same shared space. A private hire then blocks the events, a booked event blocks the hire, and the events calendar shows only the events. If you also show a Google Calendar on your site, turn on Keep bookings out of Google Calendar on the hire product so private bookings stay off it.
