Automatic, or one language for everyone
Out of the box Booker follows each shopper. Someone browsing your store in French gets the calendar and their confirmation email in French, and your store's language when theirs is not available. If you would rather everyone saw one language, pick it under App language on Settings. The email that comes to you always uses that setting.
What is translated
Every label, hint and button on the calendar. Every customer email: confirmation, reminder, cancellation, booking under review. The notice at checkout when a time has just been taken. The app itself, the pages you work in, is in 26 languages.
Things you type are not translated
Product names, the names of your rooms, your own booking questions and the note on a closed date are shown exactly as you wrote them. Write them in the language most of your customers use.
Currencies
Prices come from your Shopify product, so they convert at checkout the way any product does under Shopify Markets. Paid extras, deposits and the discount for booking several rooms convert too, so a customer paying in another currency sees consistent numbers on the calendar, in the cart and on the order.
Good to know
Can I edit a translation?
Not yet. If a phrase reads badly in your language, email us the phrase and the fix and we will change it for everyone.
Which language does the reminder go out in?
The one the customer booked in, the same as their confirmation.
