What Booker does
Booker turns a Shopify product into something you can book by time. A customer opens the product page, sees a calendar of real availability, picks a slot, and pays at your standard Shopify checkout. The slot is held while the order is in progress and blocked once it is paid, so the same time is never sold twice.
Set up in five steps
- Install from the App Store. Add Booker from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin. It runs inside your store, so there is no separate account to manage.
- Make a product bookable. In the app under Products, pick a product and turn on booking. Choose a rate, for example by the hour or by the day, and set a price for it.
- Add the calendar to the product page. Place the Booker calendar on the product page so customers see live availability where they buy. Use the app block on Online Store 2.0 themes or the code snippet on older themes.
- Set your hours and lead time. Set your opening hours per weekday and a lead time so bookings cannot be made at the last minute. Block out any dates you are closed. Any product can override these with its own hours and closed dates.
- Take a test booking. Book a slot yourself. It is held at add to cart, paid at checkout, and shows on your calendar, blocking that time for everyone else.
Good to know
Do I need a separate booking tool?
No. Booking and payment run on your existing Shopify checkout, so orders, customers and payouts work exactly as they do now.
How do I add the calendar to my theme?
Use the Booking Calendar app block on Online Store 2.0 themes, or paste the code snippet on older themes. Both methods are covered in their own docs.
