Google Calendar sync and troubleshooting

Put your bookings in the calendar you already use, and find the cause quickly if the calendar will not load on your product page.

Google Calendar sync

Available on Starter and Pro. Connect it under Integrations. Every paid or manual booking appears in a calendar you choose, and disappears again if it is cancelled or refunded. Turn on the invite option if you also want Google to email the customer so it lands in their calendar too. That is off by default.

Calendar feed for Apple, Outlook and Airbnb

On Starter and Pro, Settings shows a private link to your bookings. Subscribe to it from Apple Calendar, Outlook or Google to see bookings next to everything else in your diary, or paste it into Airbnb to block those dates there. It updates on its own. Keep it to yourself, since anyone with the link can see your bookings.

Sync only goes one way

Booker writes your bookings into Google. It does not read your Google calendar back, so an event you type into Google yourself does not block time in Booker. To block time, add a manual booking or a closed date in the app.

If the calendar does not load

Add ?bookingDebug=1 to the end of the product page address and open it. Booker prints what is going wrong to the browser console, which is usually enough for us to pinpoint it.

Still stuck

Email booker-app@protonmail.com with your store address and we will help.

Good to know

Which plans include calendar sync?

Google Calendar sync and the calendar feed are on Starter and Pro.

Will events I add in Google block my availability?

No. Sync is one way, from Booker into Google. Block time in Booker with a manual booking or a closed date.
